Notarius Certificat new installation / migration to a new macOS device

Requirements:
Notarius Account
CertifiO Manager application
ConsignO Desktop Application
* Applications are available to all macOS CEP users through the Self-Service App.

Make sure the CertifiO Manager certificat is trusted in macOS keychain:
1. Launch Privileges.app to promote your local account with administrator right
2. Launch /System/Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access
3. In System keychain search for Notarius - CertifiO Manager certificat

4. Double click on it, expand the Trust menu and choose Always Trust for "When using this certificate" option. You will be prompt to update this settings with you mac username and password. Use the Privileges.app to promote your local account with administrator right if needed.

Migration to a new macOS device
1. If files has been transfert from you old macOS device you need to make sure that there is no digital signature certificat file existing on your Mac before adding a new digital signature certificat. From your finder, search you home folder for file with the .epf extension and delete those files. Use the Privileges.app to promote your local account with administrator right if needed.

2. To recover your digital signature open a web browser and open this webpage: https://www.notarius.com/recuperer
3. Type you Notarius email address (should be your cep-experts.ca email account)

4. Once complete you should receive by email from Notarius an invitation to activate you account (email could look different has the example showed in this guide).

2. Click on Access my account and follow the instruction. You could be ask to answer you security questions to access your account.
3. Once you are login into Notarius Portal you will be able to activate your Notarius Digital signature.
- Certificate name if generated automatically by Notarius
- You will receive a reference number by email, copy and paste that number in reference number field
- Choose the password you will use to digitally sign you document (follow the password policy)

4. Once all filed completed, you can download and activated your digital signature in the default folder location.

The process could take few minutes

5. Once completed, you will be able to open a document in ConsignO Desktop and digitally sign your document.
New installation (This process need to be validated by CEP IT Team)
1. Once you account is created you should receive by email from Notarius an invitation to activate you account (email could look different has the example showed in this guide).

2. Click on Access my account and follow the instruction. You could be ask to answer you security questions to access your account.
3. Once you are login into Notarius Portal you will be able to activate your Notarius Digital signature.
